The beauty of love is that it can happen anywhere, anytime. Sometimes that’s also its tragedy… Nikhil, a 29-year-old UK-returned professional has found the perfect bride. The girl is young, beautiful, well-educated and independent. She is also willing to move with him to Dubai, where he’ll be based after receiving a promotion. Their families are ecstatic about the arrangement and the wedding plans are going forward in full swing. What happens next? Nikhil does something that’s shocking beyond belief. In less than two weeks after his engagement, he decides that he wants to call it off with his fiancée. He has his reasons but they are too scandalous, and nothing that he can reveal casually. He is in a situation where he has to choose between his personal desires and moral obligations. What will Nikhil do when faced with the steepest precipice of his life?

A business graduate from Mumbai, Samah quit her job as a PR Executive to explore different career possibilities. She then worked for an events management company and has dabbled in modeling as well. The freedom of a freelance job gave her the time to discover her interests and it is in this period that she started to write her first story. During the process she realised her love for the art of storytelling and found that she has many a story to tell. She now regularly partakes in writing competitions and has been selected as the winner by author Preeti Shenoy for the Times of India short story competition. Amongst other things, Samah is inclined towards a future in writing and hopes to encourage people to read and write even if they have other professional jobs. When she is not penning a manuscript she spends her time reading, watching movies, practising yoga, and baking. Traveling and trying various cuisines are big on her list of hobbies. She lives in Mumbai with her parents and three dogs.
